You can also take a trip to beautiful Öland, which has several attractions, including Öland's Zoo and all the fine sandy beaches there are.

Nice villa located on a larger headland in an area called Karlsnäs, 30 km south of Kalmar. From the house you have a nice view of a bay called Ekenäsviken. The surroundings are peaceful and rural. Within a short walking distance you will find a guest harbour, a nice swimming area with a sandy beach and jetty and a small charming "shop" that sells ice cream, snacks and drinks. The house has a spacious hall, a pleasant living room with comfortable seating, a wood-burning stove to burn in when needed and a dining area with an exit to the back. If you buy a fishing license in the nearby lake, you can fish in a number of other lakes in the nearby area as well. You can easily buy a fishing license online. There is also a walking trail in the area, so don't miss out on a walk and discover. The path leads to a cozy barbecue area, among other things. Another popular restaurant to visit is La Famiglia, in Vassmolösa (34 km) where you can enjoy Italian food in a lovely Mediterranean-inspired garden. Kosta Glasrike (41 km) is usually a nice day trip. Here you will find everything from Kosta glassworks to glass shops and a large outlet with clothes, interior design, shoes as well as hunting and fishing. Kosta also has several year-round restaurants with everything from home cooking to fine dining at the Kosta Art hotel. At Kosta Art hotel there is also an excellent spa area with pools and a relaxation area. The house is called Älvan and is one of three nice houses that are surrounded by rural air. Everything is located on a large farm called "Sägnernas hus" and has an entertainment facility with a dance floor, boules court, concerts and its own museum right next door. Here you can find probably just about everything a family with children or larger groups could wish for. The lower floor of the house is adapted for those with functional variation with large rooms and spacious bathrooms. You are welcomed with a small patio overlooking the field. The hall is bright and with an open floor plan where the kitchen and living room are in one. To the right is the bathroom, which is light gray and fresh. To the left is the first bedroom which has a double bed 180 cm. Next to this bedroom there is a bunk bed and also a sofa bed 140 cm wide. The kitchen is airy and lovely. A nice stove stands in the corner that warms chilly evenings. The TV is placed behind the stairs and can be rolled out if needed. The kitchen has plenty of space for delicious dinners. There is a cozy loft in the house that is led up by the impressive staircase of solid wood. The ceiling height is not that high but it is a perfect crawl for you with older children who want to be by themselves.
