Here there are, among other things, nice salty baths, restaurants, pizzeria, grocery store, fish and delicatessen, mini golf, tennis, marina, bicycle and kayak rental and outdoor gym. The island is particularly famous for its stone carving, but also for its hiking trails and nice bathing spots. Here there is a wonderful calm with a charming atmosphere where you are close to all the island's various attractions, e.g. Stallebrottet, an old quarry in Malmö. Today, the crime scene is used as a theater and during the summer several performances are organized. From the cabin's parking you are greeted by a nice lawn that turns into a balcony area from where you have a nice sea view over the salty sea of ​​the Åbyfjord. The cabin's entrance is at the back of the cabin. Once inside you are greeted by a cozy and cozy open plan with kitchen equipped with stove, microwave, fridge/freezer, coffee maker, dining room corner with dining area, living room with sofa area and TV, two bedrooms, one with a comfortable double bed and one with a single bed, and a bathroom with shower. From the living room you reach the cottage's balcony area, where part of the balcony is under cover, a nice open area for everyone to socialize and, for example, on lovely summer evenings, maybe enjoy the delicacies of the sea such as freshly caught prawns, crayfish or a well-filled crab or just sit and enjoy it nice view of Nejd and sea. Next to the cabin on a small hill is the cabin's annex. Via the annex's small glazed veranda you reach the entrance. On Sotenäset and in the surrounding area, there are several fishing and stonecutter communities with additional bathing areas as well as coastal paths and roads with a view of the Bohuslän archipelago. Kungshamn and adjacent Smögen also offer the opportunity to rent a kayak or boat so you can explore the beautiful archipelago on your own. If you want to take a look under the surface of the sea, there are diving experience opportunities both from land and boat. From Kungshamn you can take a taxi boat and visit the Hållö lighthouse or to Smögen and continue to experience archipelago life and the archipelago environment at the now world-famous jetty with bustling folk life, shops, restaurants and a variety of different boats. In the area there are good hiking opportunities with a view of the fjord and river such as Malta's path. A trip with Munkedal's museum railway can be an exciting and interesting experience or the Torreby golf course, which is Bohuslän's oldest golf course, the course is located in a castle setting with an English-inspired castle park. The cabin has a fiber connection. The municipality of Munkedal has very varied natural areas worth visiting, everything from sea and fjord environments to deep forests with lakes and rivers. From Kaserna's canoe centre, an approx. 4 mile long paddling trail runs through lakes and waterways, a great opportunity to explore a beautiful part of the surrounding area. From the cottage you can also easily reach other municipalities and excursion destinations worth visiting, e.g. take the local road past Saltkällan, Skredsvik, Rotviksbro stop at "Två Fröknar" which is a cozy shop with both interior design and clothes. Next door is the restaurant Stallgården, which also sells organic produce in the shop "Stallgården's Pantry". Then continue with some shopping at Torp Köpcentrum or why not a visit to Bohusläns Museum. From the cabin, you can also easily make day trips to Nordens Ark, Havets Hus in Lysekil, Smögenbryggan, fishing and boating communities in the northern part of Bohuslän.

A perfect accommodation for the small family or a couple who want both nature and cultural experiences. The owners recommend the swimming area at little Bjälkerum, where you have a beautiful view of the sunset. A visit to Astrid Lindgren's World in Vimmerby is usually popular with children. You can also visit Astrid Lindgren's childhood home Näs, Emil's Katthult and Bullerbyn. In Mariannelund is the film village where filming environments from classic films by Astrid Lindgren can be experienced. In the moose park in Skullaryd, you can go on a tractor safari, experience and feed moose and deer in their natural environment. Eksjö with Sweden's best preserved wooden town is well worth a visit.

At a convenient distance is Oskarström, a smaller resort that has most of what you need during your vacation. There is a much-appreciated adventure pool here, open during the summer. Feel free to take a trip to Simlångsdalen. There is both a public bathing area and several lovely places to visit. A short drive takes you to Halmstad with its white sandy beaches and its cozy inner city. There are several golf courses in the area, the closest is Rydö golf club.
