Welcome to a small and simple, but cozy accommodation in a fantastic part of Småland. Here you get a lovely red cottage in rural surroundings. The cottage consists of a large room divided into a small kitchen area that has a coffee maker and refrigerator, a dining area, a small bedroom with a bunk bed and a living room with a sofa bed. Shower, toilet and kitchen are in a service building about 30 meters away. A slightly larger cabin, no. 57673 at Stugsommar, is some 600 meters away and can advantageously be rented together. Upon request and availability, rowing boat and canoe can be borrowed. Bicycles are available to borrow (sort based on availability) So take the opportunity to explore the area both at sea and on land. For fishing enthusiasts there is much to look forward to in Tingsryd municipality, here there are a number of beautiful lakes and waterways for fishing. One of the most famous fishing waters in the area is Lake Tiken, which is known for its rich stock of perch, zander, pike and whitefish. Lake Åsnen is also a popular destination for fishermen, especially for zander fishing, and here you also have the opportunity to rent a boat for your fishing adventures. For cycling enthusiasts, there are fine cycle paths in the area. Bring your bike and go on an adventure along picturesque roads while enjoying the beautiful nature. For art lovers, we recommend a visit to Kosta Glaskonst, where you can admire fantastic glass products and get an insight into the art of glassblowing.

In the southern parts of Småland, in lovely rural surroundings but with lake Åsnen only about 500 meters away, you have the opportunity to experience all the best of Småland. Åsnen is a unique lake archipelago with more than a thousand islands and is Sweden's newest national park. This beautiful house is from the 1890s but was renovated as recently as 2013, but they have chosen to keep the feeling in the renovation and interior design. Here you have the red wooden house that brings to mind Astrid Lindgren's fairy tales. It is a large spacious house, with a large living room, spacious kitchen, new fresh bathroom and a bright, nice bedroom on the ground floor. Up the stairs, which is steep in its slope, you will find 2 more bedrooms, a large spacious one with a double bed, and a slightly smaller one with two single beds. The large family can easily fit here, and the lovely garden invites you to cozy meals just outside the house under the shade of the trees or on the balcony that is adjacent to the barn diagonally opposite. Boat and canoe, if rented, are at the house on a trailer and are taken down to the lake when in use. If you want to go on an adventure, for example, all the places to visit in the Kingdom of Glass are about 1 hour away by car, about 45 km away is Växjö with shopping, restaurants and cafes. The previously mentioned Åsnen national park has a lot to experience a little more in the immediate area. And 50km south you reach Karlshamn and the sea if you fancy a day at the beach.

Here you will find peace for body and soul and a perfect holiday spot for a family or a group of seven people. In this Swedish rural idyll, you will thoroughly enjoy being close to several lovely swimming spots along Vänern, which is Sweden's largest lake. The house has a large terrace with seating areas for cozy evenings and dinners. There is a wood-fired hot tub under a roof, and firewood can be purchased from the owners on-site. Your furry friends are welcome here. You are welcomed to three different buildings. First, the main house, which has a kitchen and a living room with a fireplace and a TV with Swedish channels. There are two bedrooms with three single beds, and in one of the rooms, the beds can be pushed together to make a double bed. Close by is the small house with two bunk beds, perfect for children and teenagers, and in a separate little building is the nice bathroom for both houses with a shower, WC, washing machine, and sink. The hot tub, situated on the terrace, is under a roof in a cozy environment with seating benches and is a very relaxing place. The beach is about 400 meters from the cabin, and there is a footpath or road for those who prefer to drive. It is a child-friendly sandy beach with shallow water. The cabin has a large yard for socializing and playing, and it is located high up on the hill with nature right at your doorstep. During the right season, you can pick mushrooms and berries. A wonderfully functional and comfortable little cabin with a wooden deck that has room for deckchairs and an electric grill. Here you will find silence and stillness on a sunny plot with lots of blueberry rice and close to the golf course, the sea, swimming, ice cream, shop and several restaurants. The cottage is divided into two parts. In one part there is a bedroom with 2 single beds with a wardrobe and a chest of drawers as well as a bathroom and sauna. The bathroom is fully tiled with a shower, sink and toilet as well as a sauna. Hot and cold water and underfloor heating. We kindly ask our tenants to be frugal with water consumption with regard to availability and the environment. There is a mosquito net for the window. In the other part there is a kitchen and family room. The kitchen has a fridge and freezer, micro dishwasher, dining table with 4 chairs and a sofa bed with two beds. The cottage is on shared land with the host but is separated by a trellis with ivy. Mobile coverage is good and wifi is available. Both parts can be accessed by door from the outside. However, there is a door between the bedroom and bathroom so that you can unashamedly use the bathroom and toilet if you come from outside. You can go to Gästis by bus 626 from Danderyd or by Waxholmsbåt to Linanäs jetty. There are lovely walking paths in the area. It is 1.6 km to Linanäs, where there is a mini life, guest harbor and restaurants. In the north of Ljusterö, about 1 mile, is Ljusterö square with grocery store, restaurants, post office agent, system company, pharmacy and more. About 7.5 km to Ljusterö Golf with an 18-hole course. About 1 km to the sports ground with soccer field, tennis courts, padel court, outdoor gym, boules court, table tennis, mini tennis, agility course. In northern Ljusterö/Östra Lagnö there is an incredibly beautiful nature reserve with smooth rocks from the Stone Age towards the outer parts of the archipelago. From the ferry stop on the mainland side, you can take a boat to various excursion destinations in the wonderful archipelago. Bicycles can be taken on the boat. The lovely summer town of Norrtälje is about 3 miles away. Wira bruk is a couple of km away on the mainland. ATTENTION! The pool on the property is private and therefore not available to guests.

The large house has 4 beds, one double room and one with two beds and a guest house down by the water that has a bunk bed. In the large house there is a fully tiled bathroom with shower and WC, a kitchen with dining area and a lovely family room with windows in all directions and another large dining table and four comfortable armchairs where you can sit and look out at the water. In the basement there is a washing machine and dryer. The guest cabin has no toilet or shower, but a small table and two chairs. In the boathouse you will find a spacious sauna and a relaxation corner. Wonderful to throw yourself in the sea after the sauna! A small dinghy for two adults is included in the rent if you want to row out and enjoy or catch a fish for dinner. Life jackets are available for two adults and two children. On top of the boathouse there is a large terrace with table, chairs and a barbecue. The bus stop is only 50 meters from the house, go to Grisslehamn in one direction or Älmsta and Stockholm in the other direction. Grisslehamn is a wonderful summer town, with restaurants, cafes, shops and a nice SPA. From here you can take a nice day trip to Åland via boat. There are more shops in Hallstavik.

Seaside idyll with a magical garden on Tjörn! Discover your summer paradise at Solvik, a charming century-old croft located only 75 meters from the sea at Almösund's harbour, between two marinas. Solvik offers a short walk of around 10 minutes to the swimming area at Almön. Here you can enjoy a large, lovely veranda with a dining area and lounge furniture as well as a hammock. A terrace with barbecue facilities, as well as a comfortable "cabana" for relaxation and sunbathing. In addition, there is a refreshing outdoor shower and a garden with space for play. Please note, however, that there is a pond on the property which is 1m deep, so non-swimming children cannot stay in the property for safety reasons! Downstairs there is a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, dining room with wood stove, living room with TV and wifi via fiber, an office and a small bathroom with shower and wc. There is a bedroom upstairs with a double bed (160cm), a bedroom with a single bed (90cm), and a hall with a bed that can become a double bed (2x80cm). A folding bed is available to make up if needed. As it is an older house, the ceiling height is lower, especially on the upper floor. Desks are available both in the office and upstairs. If you want to sit on the porch and use the Internet, it may be a good idea to move the modem, because the brickwork of the house can dampen the coverage somewhat. You park in the driveway. Pets are welcome and will thrive on the large green area. The grocery store Almö Livs, 100 meters from the house, is well stocked and has its own restaurant and pharmacy. A gym, ST1, and a health center are located next to the store, and it is only 50m from the house to the bus stop with good connections to Gothenburg. Thanks to the noise barrier and planks, it doesn't feel like the house is so close to the road.
