To the left of the hall is the cosy kitchen, which has everything you need: stove, oven, fridge, freezer, microwave and coffee maker, as well as a dining table with chairs. The bathroom has a toilet, sink and shower. A narrow, steep ladder from the hall leads up to the upper floor. To the right are two single beds (90 cm) and to the left are two more single beds (90 cm) in a room with a sloping ceiling – perfect for older children, but small children should be supervised here. The magical garden is a haven for children to play and run around on the green lawns. Here you can play kubb or just enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Evenings outdoors are extra lovely with barbecues, and mornings are best started with a cup of coffee in the garden's soothing environment. Please note, however, that there is a pond on one side of the property that is not fenced off, so do not let small children play here unsupervised. The cottage is idyllically located in a scenic, rural setting, yet close to activities. Sikhalls camping, with its larger bathing area, is only a short distance away. For anglers, Lake Vänern is a paradise where you can fish for salmon, pike, whitefish and pikeperch. For excursions, we recommend a trip to Halleberg and Hunneberg with its royal hunting museum and scenic outdoor areas – perfect for hiking, picnics and experiencing the magnificent nature. Nearby Trollhättan offers attractions such as the Trollhätte Falls, the lock area and the SAAB Museum. In Vänersborg, there is an adventure pool and cosy cafés. For a day trip, you can easily reach Dalsland, the west coast with Ljungskile and Uddevalla, or the city of Gothenburg. Stay in a very pleasant cottage built in 2023, featuring a large covered patio and a beautiful view of the lush garden. Just a stone's throw from the sea in two directions, only a few hundred meters away, and close to a lake and beautiful archipelago nature! The accommodation welcomes you with its large patio and lovely window sections with sliding doors that create beautiful light in the cottage. An open floor plan where the kitchen and living room are combined. Modern kitchen with induction hob with two plates and a combined oven and microwave. Two comfortable bedrooms, one with a double bed 160 cm wide and one room with two beds in a bunk bed. Bathroom with shower, toilet, sink, and washing machine. The cottage is on the same plot as the owner's house, but you have access to the part adjacent to the cottage. There are electric fences in parts of the yard. You can reach the island via a free car ferry from Östanå ferry terminal. Start your day with a lovely dip in the sea and then explore Ljusterö or why not take the boat (Vaxholmsbolaget) from Linanäs to Vaxholm. Beautiful nature and fine walking paths in the area and in nature reserves at Östra Lagnö, Själbottna. On the beautiful island of Vätö, just outside Norrtälje, we find this lovely summer resort. The property consists of two houses, a larger house with kitchen, bathroom with washing machine, a living room with sofa bed, stove and dining table. There are two separate bedrooms here; one with a double bed and one with a bunk bed. Leaving the living room, you come out onto a terrace with a roof, and a larger terrace without a roof with a beautiful view of the mountains and forest. There is both a charcoal grill and a gas grill here. In the newly built, beautifully furnished guest cabin, there is a living room with a stove, a small fridge and kettle. There are two bedrooms, one with a bunk bed and one with a 120 cm bed. That room has its own exit to the terrace outside. There is a bathroom with an electric toilet, but no shower. On Vätö there are nice walking areas and various bathing spots. The closest to the house is a nice lake that is popular and a bit warmer. If you want to swim in the sea, it's 1.5 km to the beach and jetty. There is a lot to see on the island, which has typical rosewood nature. Roslag granite was mined here in the past; The Royal Opera House and the Riksdag House in Stockholm were built with the red granite and the old quarries are here and there and can be visited on foot. The main town is called Harg and has a grocery store. Vätö was already built at the end of the Iron Age and there are traces to be seen on the island. There is a bus to the nice summer town of Norrtälje, well worth a visit, with cozy alleys, restaurants and shops.

The property is a forest plot located high up with a view of a bird lake, where a pair of swans have lived for several years. Other bird species and wild animals can also be seen in the meadow. The house is located between Järna and Nykvarn in beautiful Sörmland. The house is secluded and quiet, offering a peaceful vacation in the countryside. If you want to experience more, there is plenty to do; the Sörmlandsleden trail is nearby if you like hiking, and Lake Yngeln is 5 km from the house, where there is both nudist and regular swimming. The beach is wonderful and shallow, with swings for the children. If you want to go to Stockholm, the easiest way is to park your car at Järna in the long-term parking lot and take the commuter train to the big city. Cycling in Sörmland is nice, there are many small roads in the countryside.

Kungshamn and neighboring Smögen also offer the opportunity to rent kayaks or boats so you can explore the beautiful archipelago on your own. If you want to take a look below the surface of the sea, there are diving opportunities both from land and boat. From Kungshamn, you can take a taxi boat and visit the Hållö lighthouse or go to Smögen and continue to experience archipelago life and the archipelago environment on the now world-famous pier with its bustling crowds, shops, restaurants, and a variety of different boats. A nice choice for a day trip is a visit to Nordens Ark, a zoo where you can meet around 80 of the world's endangered animals.
