Here you live 10 m from the sea with a lovely sea view, salty baths and "your own" jetty just a few meters away in a calm and pleasant environment with the forests near the beach, forest animals and birdsong around the knot. Start the day with a lovely morning swim in the sea before enjoying your breakfast in this peaceful beachside environment. The cottage includes a small rowing boat, perfect for taking you over to the island opposite, where there is the opportunity to dive from bare fine rocks or for a while fishing for mackerel or trout. The cabin is also perfect for those of you who want to go out with your own kayak, there are many fine paddling routes in the area. The cottage and associated annex have been carefully renovated and updated over time while preserving the fine older environment. From the front porch you are welcomed into the cozy country kitchen with kitchen furniture and a nice warming wood stove. In the new kitchen area there is a fridge and freezer, microwave, built-in oven, induction hob, fan, coffee maker and dishwasher. From the lawn you continue out onto the small headland where the jetty is located, here you can sunbathe from the rocks and enjoy lovely salty baths. It is not far to several of northern Bohuslän's picturesque fishing villages, eg Grebbestad, where in addition to experiencing the narrow alleys, summer shops, restaurants, you can also rent boat charters, fishing trips or why not a kayak to experience the beautiful archipelago outside. Several nature reserves with fantastic nature can be found in the area, such as Sweden's first marine national park Kosterhavets national park is well worth a visit. Also take the opportunity to visit the Vitlycke museum, which is a knowledge and experience center in Tanum's world heritage - an area with around 600 petroglyph sites. Here you can go with a guide, or wander freely between the outcrops and interpret the unique carvings. A holiday home in the heart of Sörmland that is secluded and a few hundred meters from Lake Öljaren, yet close to amenities and many excursion destinations. The cabin has been newly renovated while maintaining the old style and has two floors where the lower floor has a kitchen with a dining area where the old iron stove has been preserved. A spacious living room equipped with both a sofa group and dining table and a bathroom. Upstairs are the house's two bedrooms, one of which has a double bed and the other a bunk bed, here there is a storage room with toys that can be borrowed during the time you spend in the house. Both bedrooms are equipped with blackout curtains as the summer nights in Sweden are bright. In the leafy garden there are two different patios to choose from. Cushions for chairs are stored inside the house when not in use and can be found in one of the storage rooms, the smaller bedroom upstairs. If you have plans for a trip to the lake or perhaps to pick berries and mushrooms, there are baskets to borrow for the purpose. Vingåker offers everything needed in the way of shopping, everything from pharmacies to an outlet with clothes and restaurants. A visit to Julita Gård can be recommended, here there are wonderful park environments and also a restaurant and cafe. Final cleaning is included when you rent this house, but you must bring your own sheets and towels and put away and wash the dishes before departure.

The kitchen area is truly inviting and is equipped with modern equipment and got a lovely feeling of tradition and culture, not least because the owner has kept some of the old original timber and let it be a decoration by themselves. The kitchen has a nice dining area where you can enjoy the peaceful surrounding area though the windows. Next to the kitchen is a family room located where you can gather around to enjoy each other’s company or watch TV. There is also a chimney where you can warm yourselves when the weather is a little bit chilly. On the ground floor there is also a very inviting little room where you can read a book and relax, or you can listen to some music and connect yourself to the free house Wi-Fi. Between the kitchen and the entry you will find the bathroom with the beautiful classic sauna. The surrounding area is just as inviting as the house itself. With a short walk through a beautiful pasture, will take you to the peaceful lake of Storsjön where your boat lays docked. If you want to go fishing you will need to acquire fishing license, or you can take a small trip with or without a picnic basket. You can either bathe in the lake next to the holiday home, if you want to sunbathe and long days at the beach you can visit the local bathing spots in the area. There is a large quantity of excursion sites in the area; if you want to go shopping you can visit Gekås or go on an adventure in High Chaparall, visit the large city of Gotherburg, salt baths in Falkenberg, Halmstad or Varberg.

Welcome to a charming red cottage on the island of Öckerö, one of the West Coast's most beautiful islands in Gothenburg's lovely archipelago! Here you have a perfect starting point for visiting Hönö, Fotö, Vinga Lighthouse and several other incredible places. The cottage consists of a newly renovated part (2023) where the kitchen, family room, bathroom and sleeping alcove are located. Via the entrance there is direct access to the kitchen and living room where there is an armchair that can be converted into an additional bed (slightly smaller than standard dimensions) for one person. The sleeping alcove has a double bed (160cm) and there is a curtain if you want to screen it off. Toilet with shower and washing machine. Remember to use the hot water sparingly as the space in the water heater is limited. At the other end of the cabin there is an annex with a single bed (90cm). Entrance from outside. The cottage with annex is on the same plot as the owners' residence. Not far from the house are Öckerö's center, Hjälvik's and Hummerviken's bathing spots, both well-visited and popular. You will have a wonderful stay among small shops, restaurants and fishing boats. With close proximity to the beautiful nature of the island with donut stands within easy reach, you can really find peace here. A stone's throw away is the ICA store, system company and the lovely harbor with its pleasant café and their fantastic prawn sandwiches. If you want to feel the pulse, it's easy to take public transport to Gothenburg's inner city with everything it has to offer.
