Further along the coast along the beautiful Italian road, you will reach the tennis metropolis of Båstad. Also visit Hovs Hallar, a magnificent nature experience. A visit to the beautiful gardens in Norrviken is also recommended. South along the coast towards Ängelholm there are several lovely beaches and small harbor towns. Ängelholm offers an exciting mix of small specialty shops, exclusive boutiques and several large chains. Ängelholm's Hembygdspark is an oasis for the whole family. The park houses a zoo, museum buildings and a playground for the younger ones. There are walking paths, rest areas and eating areas. On the Bjäre peninsula there are several hiking trails and walking areas. There are 7 golf courses within a few kilometers. The closest is Torekov's exciting "links course".

It is only about 23 km to the beautiful summer town of Halmstad and about 32 km to Falkenberg. If you feel like shopping, Sweden's largest tourist destination GeKås in Ullared is about 50 minutes' drive away. Here you can find everything you can think of and a little something extra and it's cheap too. The nearest golf course is Rydö GK. In Rydebruk there is also an award-winning restaurant and café.

Dalälven is about 200 meters away, and you can walk down to the river via a forest path. Swimming is possible, but it's a natural spot—so bring water shoes. About 2,500 meters from the cottage, there is a nice sandy beach that also has a small summer kiosk. The cottage has been rebuilt and extended in recent years and now features an open-plan layout. The kitchen corner is equipped for cooking, and a fridge with freezer is placed in the main room. The large living room includes a dining area with an open fireplace, and a cozy sitting area with a cast iron wood-burning stove for chilly evenings. There are four bedrooms in the house. One has a standard double bed (160 cm), two rooms have pull-out beds that expand to 160 cm wide, and the fourth room has a standard single bed. There is room for family and friends to spend a shorter or longer stay with sea bathing, restaurants and beach bars in the area. Some open all year round and others only during the summer. The spacious house has a living room with a kitchen area equipped for self-catering and a dining area to gather around. In this room there are also two beds in a pull-out bed that is also used as a sofa in front of the TV with Swedish channels. In the bedroom with bunk beds there is also space for clothes storage.
