This coastal house with it's delightful garden makes an excellent holiday home. It is set in Brastad, north of Lysekil, “The town by the sea”. Lysekil is a beautiful summer town offering plenty of activities and concerts during the summer months. On the bottom floor you will find a cosy living room with a sofa suite and a TV. The little kitchen features a dining place. Next to the kitchen you will find a spacious bedroom with a double bed. Please note that there's no door between the kitchen and the bedroom. A narrow staircase leads up to the second floor where you will find two cosy bedrooms with sloping ceilings. The ceiling height on the upper floor is comparatively low, about 180 centimetres. One of the bedrooms features a double bed and in the other there are two single beds. The bathroom is located in the separate annex and features a WC, washbasin, shower, washing machine, and your own private sauna! At the front of the house there's a stone patio with garden furniture. Lysekil is the perfect base for those who wish to enjoy the beauty of the archipelago. Take a boat trip and admire the islands. Or rent a kayak! In the centre of Lysekil you will find shops, restaurants and music events. There's a beautiful promenade by the beach. Don't miss the ancient rock carvings on the cliffs of Brodalen! For those who love swimming there's an excellent, child-friendly beach by Govik. There are plenty of lovely destinations for day trips, for instance the many charming little towns in the archipelago. Another attractive destination is Gothenburg, with it's shops and restaurants, and it's famous funfair Liseberg. Welcome to the town by the sea, a beautiful holiday destination!

A warm welcome to this charming cottage in Färgelanda! The cabin is located in beautiful nature and a wonderfully peaceful environment in southwestern Dalsland. It is well planned with an open kitchen and a dining table with chairs for two. Adjacent to the kitchen is the living room, equipped with a TV and a comfortable sofa that can easily be turned into a 160 cm wide bed. There is also an extra mattress for increased comfort. In the morning you can enjoy a cup of coffee on the small terrace and take in the wonderful nature, chirping birds and the peace. The cabin's power comes from solar cell energy systems that allow it to generate and use self-produced electricity from the sun. On the outside of the cottage there is a separate building with a sink, shower and washing machine. There is also a separate toilet. The cottage is secluded but shares the plot with the home owner. In the surrounding forests, there are plenty of opportunities to pick berries and mushrooms. For those who love hiking, there are hiking trails nearby. A recommended choice is Karl XII's väg, the most famous hiking trail on Kroppefjäll. The trail stretches over Kroppefjäll on historic land where Charles XII and his Carolines are said to have traveled on their way to Fredriksten's fortress in Norway. Only a 35-minute drive away, you can visit Evenstorps Gård, where you can buy organic KRAV-labelled beef, own raspberries and rhubarb. For the kids, there are several different animals to look at and pet, including mini goats, alpacas, Shetland ponies, mini pigs, rabbits and chickens. Within walking distance of Eventorp's farm you will find a unique rock carving, and in the Kroppefjäll nature reserve there are fine hiking and cycling trails as well as lakes where you can swim, fish and paddle. From the cabin, you can also make day trips to Nordens Ark, Havets Hus in Lysekil, Smögenbryggan and fishing and boating communities in the northern part of Bohuslän. For those who want to spend a day on the golf course, there are several fine courses within a radius of a few miles to choose from, for example Dagsholms GK in Färgelanda or Torreby Golfbana, Bohuslän's oldest golf course, which is located in a castle environment with an English-inspired castle park.

Cottage in the countryside with access to a wood-fired hot tub in an idyllic setting with scenic surroundings and several bathing spots. The cottage is located in charming Rejmyre and close to several places to visit. The accommodation has a bedroom with a 160 double bed and a smaller sofa bed, the kitchen area has a kitchen table with room for 4 people and next to the same room is the sofa corner. There is a tiled bathroom with a shower and around the corner there is a laundry room. In the yard there is another room with its own entrance where there is summer water and a double bed. There are two balconies to access a veranda with room for 2-3 people and access to the large balcony of 100 square meters you share with the owner. Here there is a Weber grill, wood-fired spa bath, dining area under an awning and a sofa group, a lovely place for socializing. The cabin has Wifi and a TV screen for those who want to connect from mobile or Chromecast. 300 meters to the nearest bathing area, a nice forest path takes you there, 600 meters to the large bathing area. Getnäs About 1.5 kilometers away there is a summer kiosk, with ice cream, coffee and slightly simpler purchases of food needed for the day and a mini golf course. The swimming area in Bränntorp is a nice little swimming area managed by the Bränntorp road association. The bathing area is located by the lake Stora Gryten and here there are nice grassy areas, a small sandy beach and a large jetty. There is also a changing room here. The lake has a sandy bottom. For those who want to fish in the area, a fishing license is not needed. It takes 20 minutes to get to Rejmyre by car, here there are shops, restaurants and more. Rejmyre Glasbruk is a Swedish glassworks founded in 1810, Rejmyre Glasbruk offers guided tours of the mill, glassblowing in the cabin, factory shop and Hyttsill. Rejmyre Hantverksby, here you will find a lovely market feel with skilled craftsmanship and creativity. Here is Smedjan, which offers hand-forged interior details, tools and jewelry - everything from nails and knife blades to chandeliers and iron bowls. Find tasteful interior details at Hemboden and perhaps update the wardrobe at Rejmyre Kläd bod. Enjoy the day at the end with a lovely little afternoon coffee that you can buy at Café Det Lilla Annorlunda. Here they also sell Sweden's cheapest tea and many fantastic special spices! Stora Djulö Herrgård in Katrineholm, right next to the water at Djulösjön, summer time with cafe and events. If you want to go on other adventures and discover the big city of Norrköping, it takes about 35 minutes by car. Art and culture are a big part of Norrköping. In the heart of Norrköping lies Knäpingsborg with ancient buildings and its cozy restaurants, bars, cafes and lots of shopping. Worth a visit is the picturesque town of Söderköping with all its charm and the Göta canal passes through the town with its beautiful passenger boats. 45 kilometers from the house is Kolmården, the Nordic region's largest zoo, safari park and rides. If you want to go on a longer day trip, it is about a two-hour drive to Astrid Lindgren's world in Vimmerby, then you also pass the city of Linköping with all its offerings. Feel free to visit Gamla Linköping, which is one of Östergötland's biggest tourist destinations, here history comes alive and you can experience the city, countryside and forest as they were a hundred years ago.

Song composer Lasse Dahlqvist has made the island famous through his songs. If you want to experience the classical dance at Brännö pier, walk to Husvik on the southwest side in approx. 20 minutes. From the mountain at the old pilot's lookout, at the island's highest point, you have a view from Vinga to the entrance to Gothenburg. The small houses and the narrow roads give the island a charming impression. The island is car-free, but there are taxis that you can order to transport you and your luggage smoothly to your cabin. Otherwise, there are carts that you can borrow to transport your luggage. 3 bikes are available to borrow and more are available for rent on the island. Also take the opportunity to borrow the boat, which is available for loan, as well as 2 sea kayaks for wonderful paddle trips. The island has everything you need! Shop with post office, restaurant, bakery, cafe and church. There are also plenty of bathing spots. The closest is Pannevik where you can eat well at På Brännö Värdshus and there is also a rustic and homely restaurant in the harbour. Via a narrow land connection, it is possible to walk over to fantastic Galterö. Here there is a rich birdlife and a lovely nature. If you want to learn more about Brännö's history, you shouldn't miss the small charming local museum in the middle of the island. Beautiful Byrum Sandvik has one of Öland's very best beaches with magical sand and beautiful dunes. Here you can enjoy fantastic nature and Öland's finest rauk area. The house has a balcony with outdoor furniture and the magical view. You have a large living room with a dining area and a sitting area with a sofa that can be made into a double bed (140 cm). Welcome to cozy Strömma on Värmdö, here you live close to the lake with a nice view of Strömma canal. The house is located high up with a nice balcony with an unobstructed view of the water. The house has been completely renovated and has a modern kitchen with new appliances, a fully tiled bathroom with underfloor heating and a washing machine. Opposite the bathroom is the bedroom with two single beds. In the living room there is a sofa bed for two, here there is also an air heat pump for heating or cooling. The living room/kitchen has a dining table with four chairs, on the balcony there is also a dining table for four. An electric grill is available on the balcony. The plot has the forest on its side, and both moose and deer live there from time to time. If you want to pick blueberries, just go up behind the house. Strömma canal is a narrow old canal that runs between Fågebrolandet and Värmdö and here boats lock to quickly get out on Nämdöfjärden. It's nice to sit on the balcony in the evening and watch the boats pass by. If you want to take a morning or evening dip, it's fine at the owners' private jetty, but if you want a full day at the beach, Grisslinge sea bath is recommended, with several jetties, long shallows and jumping tower. There is also a nice cafe and a restaurant. It only takes 15 minutes by bus. If you fancy a bite to eat, there is a restaurant just 75 meters from the house. Summer guests and permanent residents gather here to eat well in the sun or just have a cold drink. Buses run frequently, both to Djurö, Stavsnäs and into Stockholm. You can also take the archipelago boat from Strömma into Stockholm, it will be a nice boat trip through the archipelago. The owners offer to book bed linen, towels and final cleaning, so you can just enjoy being here. Four-legged guests are welcome here and there are plenty of nice walking trails in the area. If you play golf, there are several good golf courses in the immediate area.
