It is possible to swim in the lake, but a short drive away is a well-organized public bathing area, with jetties and toilets. There is also a small summer café here. Here you can live all year round, with swimming and sun in the summer, mushroom and berry picking during the autumn season. and a nature that is rich in game of various kinds, i.a. the king of the forest, the moose. A short drive away is Lake Bolmen. Here you can find everything for those interested in fishing. Boat rental, rich in different fish species, possibility to rent a boat and to book trolling fishing. There is also a very nice fish restaurant and farm shop here. Isaberg's slalom slopes are only 5 miles away. Several excursion destinations are within an hour's drive, such as sea bathing, shopping in Ullared or an adventure day at High Chaparall. There are several golf courses in the area, the closest is Rydö golf club.

TV has a wide range of channels and there is also wifi. Inside there are armchairs and a comfortable sofa bed that is 160 cm wide. Follow the spiral staircase up and you will reach the sleeping loft with a large, wide bed of 180 cm. The bathroom is between the kitchen and the living room. This is also bright, nice and with a shower cubicle, sink and wc. This is a very nice accommodation for families with children who want peace and quiet, proximity to swimming and a perfect starting point for nice outings in the fika town of Alingsås or if you want to take a day for the big city life in Gothenburg. The house is located on a farm run by the house owners. They live in the larger house in front of the cottage. On the farm there are animals that belong to the land, including horses, cats and the homeowners' two dogs that roam freely on the farm. Only 500m away is the bathing area Lygnared's camping and bathing area. There is ice cream, coffee shop and café here. A well-visited swimming area with docks, jumping tower, kayak rental and more. The massive Varberg Fortress guards the entrance to the harbor and can be seen from afar. Go on a tour down into the bastions and casemates, follow along from the 13th century to our own time. Just outside Varberg is Getterön, one of Sweden's most famous birding areas. There are also exhibitions, a shop and a café here. Another nice excursion destination is the Åkulla beech forests and for those of you who are technically interested, it is not far to the world heritage site Grimeton. Also visit the large shopping area GEKÅS in Ullared. For those interested in golf, there are several fine golf courses nearby, the closest is Klosterfjordens Gk.

For those who want to discover scenic surroundings, experiences, activities or shopping, there are many places close by. The well-known Ekoparken Omberg with its fantastic nature and its wide range of activities makes the place an attractive visitor destination all year round. Here you can hike, cycle, paddle, take part in guided hikes and exciting activities. There are also several rain and wind shelters, rest areas and fire places to take advantage of. Along Omberg's mountain slopes you will be met by beautiful views and exciting caves that are just waiting to be explored. If you have a need for speed, we recommend that you take a look at Omberg's Zipline courses, which are located near Stocklycke in Omberg. There are also two high-altitude courses here for those who want to challenge themselves. 6 kilometers away is Ombergs Golf Resort, which offers high-quality food and can boast of having Östergötland's best golf course! For those of you who like fishing, you can fish with a fishing rod from the stone pier outside the guest harbour. But not from the bathing area and the harbor basin where docks and boats are located. Paddling on Lake Vättern is a very special feeling. In Hästholmen harbor you can book a kayak via Vätternkajak. The house has three bedrooms, a double room where you can also set up a junior bed if you have a little one who wants to sleep in the same room. The junior bed can also share a room with the single bed if two children want to share a room. In addition, there is a single room with a 120-bed. A spacious living room with a wood-burning stove and pleasant seating and a dining table for socializing. There is a sunny glazed conservatory with a large dining table. The kitchen has modern appliances and nice wooden benches if you cook inside, a good espresso machine is also available. When you put the keys in the lock, you are greeted by a kitchen equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay. Straight ahead you have the house's WC and shower. Through the corridor you get to the rest of the house. In the living room you are greeted by a stylish interior in Gustavian style. The feeling of having come home arrives! Here in the living room you have a large dining table, TV and a warming stove. In the wardrobe next door, you can easily stow away all your packing and hang up your clothes. Wall to wall we have the cottage's first bedroom (2 single beds). When you continue into the cabin, you will find the cabin's second bedroom (1 double bed) and the third bedroom (bunk bed + an extra bed). All the cabin's regular beds are of high quality in terms of comfort. You will use the balcony next to the bedrooms extensively on rain-free days. From here you have a beautiful view of lake Värmeln. Start the grill, sit in one of the pieces of furniture and listen to the silence. The owners live on the plot next door. There they cultivate fish in the pond next to the house and the farm sale Lin'dA, women's clothing in natural materials. There is much to see in the area. Several cozy flea markets, Klässbol Linneväveri (court suppliers), Arvika and many fine hiking trails. For those interested in fishing, it is very close to several lakes, especially Värmeln.
