In the garden at the front you can enjoy the shade among the trees or why not at the barbecue area. It is also here that the home owner has his house. At the back, you sit secluded and have a lovely view of the meadows and surroundings here too. There are plenty of deer and other beautiful animals next to Santa. You can easily get to a variety of excursion destinations as National Highway 45 is next to the site. A short drive north you can visit, for example, Mårbacka, Sunne Vattenland and Rottneros Park. Welcome to this partly newly renovated, cozy and sunny cottage located by a river, where there are, among other things, small fish and beavers. The cabin is located near Hedekas, which is located on the edge of Kynnefjäll, which is an approximately 20 km long and 10 km wide high plateau in northern Bohuslän. The plateau stretches between the Bullaresjöarna rift valley in the west and the Örekilsälven valley in the east, with Kornsjöarna as the northern outpost on the border with Norway. The area offers beautiful hiking in a distinctive landscape. Here you will find both a unique flora and fauna as well as mushrooms and berries. Several nice lakes for swimming, fishing or canoe/kayak trips are in the area, several have launching ramps, there is plenty of space at the cabin for those of you who want to bring your own canoe/kayak. At Ulkeröd's farm there is a hunting and shooting center for those of you who want to try this. The proximity to the main road in the area makes it easy to get to the area's various destinations. The cabin's entrance is accessed via a small patio area, once inside you are met by a welcoming hall, newly renovated kitchen with stove, separate oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, coffee maker and dishwasher, there is also a warming wood stove. A living room with TV and a bedroom with a double bed and a relaxing reading corner. Bathroom with shower and washing machine. From the living room, a narrow staircase leads up to a sleeping loft with two single beds, the loft has a sloping ceiling and a maximum ceiling height of 190 cm. On the outside of the cabin, there are generous green areas for all kinds of play and games. By the river, there is a patio area with summer furniture and a barbecue, a nice place to discuss the day's adventures or plan for new excursions, and if you're lucky, maybe the beaver will come swimming by. The cabin has fiber connection. Hedekas / Sörbygden is part of the municipality of Munkedal which is known for its very varied and worth visiting natural areas, everything from sea and fjord environments such as Saltkällan with its sandy beach and salty baths to Kynnefjäll's deep forests with lakes and rivers. The area's topography has meant that species that are otherwise more common further north in the country thrive here. Örekilsälven, which is also a popular river for salmon fishing, where many sport fishing enthusiasts have tried their luck over the years. From the cabin, you can also easily make day trips to Nordens Ark, Havets Hus in Lysekil, Smögenbryggan, fishing and boating communities in the northern part of Bohuslän. If you want to spend a day on the golf course, there are several fine courses within a radius of a couple of miles to choose from, e.g. Dagsholms GK in Färgelanda or Torreby golf course, which is Bohuslän's oldest golf course, the course is located in a castle setting with an English-inspired castle park.

Here you live close to the lake with the forest as a neighbor and at the same time you are close to the coast with only 15 km to Ronneby and 40 km to Karlskrona. You have a large garden with a wonderful covered veranda with lovely lounge furniture and a lake view. You also have a larger patio deck in connection where there are sun loungers, dining furniture and a barbecue. In the fresh, cozy house there is a spacious living room with a comfortable corner sofa and TV with Chromecast in front of the stove. The stove gives lovely heat and has a high coziness factor, but should be handled carefully and only by experienced users, follow instructions carefully. In the kitchen there is a dining area and most of what you might need. You have two nice bedrooms with comfortable beds, one with a 140 cm wide bed, the other with two single beds. The bathroom is newly renovated and fresh with toilet, sink and shower. You have a rowing boat to explore the lake or take a fishing trip with. The boat is located down by the nice swimming area with jetty. Life jackets are available. The house and its surroundings invite you to wonderful nature experiences in all seasons, perhaps grilling sausages by the beach on a sunny winter's day and if the ice is thick, a walk or fishing trip on it. At the back of the house there is a trampoline for the children. In Ronneby and Karlskrona there is a wide range of culture, nice bathing spots, restaurants and shopping. From here you can also take boat trips out into the archipelago among cobs and skerries. The house is located 50m from a busy road. Firewood is included in limited quantities. Pets are not welcome.

Kalmar has a large range of culture, restaurants, events and shopping. Here is the beautiful Kalmar Castle that you must not miss. Also a day trip across the bridge to the island of sun and winds Öland is highly recommended. Good fishing can be found in Snärjebäcken's fishing waters 5.6 km away, where you can buy a fishing license to fish for rainbow salmon, roach, perch and pike. Also enjoy the wonderful nature, there are plenty of walking paths.

Out in the popular Kalkudden holiday home area in Mariefred is this charming cottage. The cottage is located high on the plot with a view of meadows and forest. You enter the cottage via a cozy glass veranda which is furnished with a small dining table and chairs, a perfect place for morning coffee. There are two bedrooms in the house, one of which has a bed that converts into a double bed and the other room has a double bed. The kitchen is well equipped and you have a dining area in the living room, where there is also a cozy sofa group and a fireplace that can increase the cozy factor of an evening. A large terrace where you have a cozy lounge corner and a large dining table that can accommodate many people. There are several bathing spots around Kalkudden Mariefred with small sandy beaches and piers. Inside Mariefred, you have 8 minutes by car, there are cozy neighborhoods, small shops and restaurants and take the opportunity to visit Gripsholm Castle if you have time.

On the entrance floor there is a spacious fully equipped kitchen with a dining area, a living room with a comfortable seating area and a glass veranda with a dining area, which adjoins a patio with a seating area and barbecue. Grape vines climb around the patio and you have a view out over pastures that go right down to the lake. There is also a TV corner (with chromecast) and a bathroom with a shower. Upstairs are the house's three bedrooms, of which two of the rooms are equipped with double beds and the third room has two single beds. Both rooms with double beds have balconies (but not child-proof railings) Between the bedrooms there is an open common room with a sofa. The bathroom, upstairs adjoins a spacious laundry room. It is not permitted to burn in the tiled stoves or in the fireplace. While you live close to nature with access to swimming, fishing and hiking trails, there are many nice excursion destinations nearby. Some examples are Taxinge Castle, also known as "Kakslottet". In Nykvarn there is boxcar land, which is a must for all vehicle-crazy children between the ages of 3 and 9. In Nykvarn there is also Hökmossebadet with a sandy beach and café. In Mariefred you will find, among other things, Gripsholm Castle and Museum Östra Södermanland's Railway. If you want to visit Stockholm, take the train from Nykvarn, which takes 30 minutes to Stockholm C. Enjoy the proximity to water, a natural beach by one of Sweden's cleanest lakes. The place, which is secluded, is shared with the host family. The bottom closest to land is soft, but further out the bottom is firm and the water is clear. It is also possible to borrow a rowing boat, for swimming and fishing excursions. There are several small islands nearby, idyllic for those who like to swim alone. The host family also lives on the farm with their cats and two friendly Leonberger dogs. Although the house is close to the host family's house, there is a sense of privacy, as the patio faces the paddocks and not the farm.
