Welcome to a charming 19th-century house, called Ekeberg. This beautiful property is located on beautiful Kållandsö, only a stone's throw from swimming in Hörviken. It is also close to the magnificent Läckö castle, Hindens reef and the Spiken fishing camp. The house is in a rural idyll and the interior is in the same style. Here you have a great chance to see both moose and deer that like to roam freely in the fields outside your house. You are welcomed into a green garden with a beautiful gazebo. Behind the red entrance door is a bright, spacious hall. Directly to the left is the kitchen, which has everything you could need, including a nice old iron stove. Next to this is the house's fine room with a tiled stove. To the right of the entrance is a small sleeping alcove. Next to the sleeping alcove is the house's bathroom with wc, sink, shower cubicle and washing machine. The stairs up lead to the upper floor. There is a large common room with TV and comfortable sofas and armchairs. The room is divided by the stairs and behind it is a double bed 180 cm wide. The room inside is the house's last bedroom with two single beds 90 cm wide and an older junior bed. The water for the house is called "Vänervatten" and is perfectly drinkable. In the kitchen there is a jug with a water filter in it. The water is clear and nice, but if you want, you can get water to fill up in a can at Hörviken, down by the marina, or buy water in a store. The water can of course be used for cooking, showering and washing oneself in. A rowing boat and two kayaks can be rented at the bottom of Hörviken - shared with guests in the other houses - rented for a price per day per boat/kayak. The boat house has access to all guests of the houses. More information is available in the accommodation and by contacting the service office. There are additional houses on the farm that can be booked for larger groups. House number 52687 - Grävlingsberg and House number: 52688 - Klockrike. In Hörvikens Marina you can listen to live music and eat good food, buy ice cream and swim during the summer. The area invites you to beautiful hiking trails and boat trips from Naven and Spiken. Hörvikens Marina is only 1 km away by car. The bathing dock is at the last pier at the Marina. Cliff bathing is a must at Naven. For families with children, there is a sandy beach at Läckö castle, Läckö beach and Svalnäs. You can also rent bicycles at the Marina and kayaks can be rented at the Nave. Fine hiking trails, pilgrimage trails, can be found at Läckö, Läckö beach and Otterstad, among others, which invite you to explore the area. For those interested in golf, it is only 4 km to Läckö golf. Here you will enjoy being close to everything a perfect holiday should have.

The bathroom is equipped with a toilet, sink and shower cabin. Please note that the stairs to the upper floor are steep. Here you have to watch out for the slanted ceilings on the staircase with a maximum height of 160 cm in the doorway itself. On the upper floor there is plenty of space and the house is larger than you think. First you come to a living room with two daybeds. To the right is the house's larger bedroom with a double bed and a crib. Straight ahead is a cozy bedroom with two single beds. The house offers plenty of space and is suitable for the family / company of 6 people. The bathing area is easily reached by car. Follow signs for Bärstaviken until the end of the road. Please note that there is no wi-fi in the house. The best coverage with a mobile phone is outdoors or on the second floor of the house. Not far away there is Läcköslott which has lots of nice things to offer. Explore the castle for both young and old. Here you will be very happy with the whole family. Just a couple of kilometers away you also have lake Åsnen, which is a completely unique lake archipelago with over 1000 small islands. In this small, cozy cottage, you have an excellent starting point for exploring the area, but if you want to stay at home, you have everything you need. The cottage consists of a cozy living room with a fireplace, a dining room with a lovely view of the garden and a small but modern kitchen. In the dining room there is the third bed which functions as a day bed/sofa at other times. There is a bedroom with a double bed. In the cabin there is also a travel cot, so you could get 3 people plus a small child who can sleep in the travel cot. There is also a new and fresh bathroom. Washing machine is in the basement under the house, there is also the freezer (freezer compartment is in the fridge in the kitchen) The hot tub may only be used if there is no burning or watering ban. You have a lovely lush garden which is fenced, which can be a big advantage if you are traveling with pets. In the garden there is also the newly built sauna, where you can bathe and look out over the forest. There will also be an outdoor shower and hot tub/outdoor bathtub for 2 people. Outside the garden, the plot is bordered on one side by a country road where there is some traffic. If you would rather swim in the lake, you have both lake Åsnen and Hyllen within a radius of about 3 kilometers. There are lots of nice walking paths in the area to walk on, or cozy little roads to cycle on and discover the surrounding area. There are three bikes included in the rental. The rent also includes final cleaning. Tingsryd is about 9 km away and here is Tingsryd Resort, which has a lot of activities for the whole family. Such as a cozy swimming area, indoor adventure pool, spa, horse riding, fishing school, boat rental, mini golf. Växjö is about 40 km away and here you will find more restaurants, cafes and shopping. Towels are included when booking bed linen.

Welcome to the shoemaker's cottage from the 1800s, here you have retained the old charm and atmosphere with amenities needed for a relaxing stay. Öjebro old Kvarnby is an idyll that makes the visitor experience what it could look like in the picturesque village community. Your four-legged friends are also welcome. The house’s lower floor with kitchen and dining area, hall, living room with seating and dining table, the bathroom is next to the kitchen with WC and shower. The beautiful staircase leads you up to an open hall with sleeping alcove and another bed of 90 cm, next to it is the bedroom with a double bed. Vadstena 2 miles away, a creative history is an appreciated destination that welcomes many visitors. Wonderful holiday home in beautiful Helgenäs, close to both the river and the bay. Here you get to experience genuine Swedish, old-fashioned holiday feelings at its best. The house has an older charm and beautiful style that must be experienced. Preparing meals in the older preserved kitchen and then sitting down together in the fine dining room is a joy. Also out in the large garden is a simpler outdoor kitchen with a sink with running water, a work surface and a charcoal grill and gas stove. Here there is a patio deck with outdoor furniture that connects the main house and the sleeping annex. In the garden there is also a trampoline and swing set for the children. In the main house, there are 4 bedrooms on the second floor, a large one with a double bed and a beautiful old-fashioned wood-burning stove that cannot be used. Two smaller bedrooms/cat lofts, each with a single bed. The fourth beautiful bedroom, which has access to one of the smaller bedrooms, has a nice view of the bay and can also serve as a family room with armchairs, a sofa bed and a tiled stove. In the beautifully furnished annex without electricity, you sleep undisturbed. Note that in colder seasons it can be chilly here as there is no heating. However, there are extra beds in the main house in the form of the sofa in the living room and the extra bed in the sofa bed upstairs if needed. In the living room there are armchairs, a sofa and a tiled stove (bring firewood). TV with Swedish channels. Smart TV is available if you connect to your own network. Note that the house only has one bathroom, located on the lower floor, here you have WC, sink, shower, and a washing machine. Not allowed to charge electric cars at the house. If you want to bring your own boat, there is a boat berth approx. 300 meters from the house in the river. Popular archipelago communities such as Valdemarsvik, Loftahammar and Västervik are located close together like a string of pearls. Don't miss the summer town of Västervik with its picturesque town centre, its restaurants, and many summertime events. Popular Loftahammar with boaters, restaurants, cafes and cooling baths by beaches and cliffs. Tour boats depart for the archipelago from both Loftahammar and Västervik. In Gamleby there are many flea markets, the bathing area Hammarsbadet and Garpedansberget with its well-visited troll park. The beautiful village of Vråka is also well worth a visit, here there is glassblowing, a flea market and an ice cream café. Borgholm is also usually a popular destination to stroll around if you want a slightly larger selection. Borgholm Castle Ruins is also here, which is well worth a visit. For the children, Öland Djurpark is usually popular with its animals, amusement park and water park.

This nice cottage is located at a small cottage area in Hökerum which belongs to the municipality of Ulricehamn and has lake Mogden as a neighbour. Here you can enjoy a beautiful environment, nice hiking trails with many sights such as Väderholm's mountain ruin Hökerums castle, Fagernäs and Säby manor. For those who want to test their fishing luck in Mogden, it is fine to do so. Fishing licenses apply here. Inside the cabin there is a pleasant living room with sofa and TV. The kitchen has a combined sleeping area with a bunk bed. The bedroom has a double bed of 180 cm. Bathroom with wc and shower. Here you stay comfortably in a nice cabin situated high up only a few hundred meters from bathing and a perfect starting point for everything you could possibly need. This is place offers a holiday combined with peace and quiet but also with proximity to big city life, culture, shopping, good dining etc. in Stockholm City if desired. The house has two entrances. Either you enter directly into the kitchen, with stove and wood stove, or you take the door into the master bedroom. In the living room there you will find the dining area and sofa group with a sofa bed for two people. Feel free to light the fire on cooler evenings and enjoy the warmth. From the living room you come out to the partly glazed terrace with a roof, here you can enjoy lovely dinners. The view from here is just as nice as from inside the house. Below the balcony is a barbecue area. There are two bedrooms, the master bedroom with a double bed and a bedroom with a single bed. Currently, there is a bathtub in the bathroom, but the homeowner plans to put in a shower cabin. In the guest house, which is just below, there is a bunk bed. On the side of the house, you can take a flight of stairs up to a small vantage point and watch the evening sun in the hammock. When you want to swim, you walk across the street and follow the green fence down to a lovely natural beach. If you go in the other direction, you will arrive at Trinntorpsbadet with a sandy beach and jetty. There is also a restaurant here, which is also usually open in the evenings with entertainment. Right next to the bath, you can take Vaxholm's boat out into the archipelago for even more experiences. In the immediate area there are many fine nature areas for hiking, including the Telegrafberget and Klövberget nature reserves. At the top of Telegrafberget there is a lookout tower with a view of Stockholm, Dalarö and Gustavsberg and here you can hike, experience a rich wildlife with rare vegetation and pick berries and mushrooms. Likewise in the Klövberget nature reserve, where there are also caves to visit. Tyresöslott from 1633 is a nice excursion destination and here you can visit the castle's museum, wander through the English park or enjoy a good meal at the Castle Inn or the Borggårdscaféet.
