It is a nice walk of 840m through open landscape and forest down to the sea where there is outdoor furniture. So bring a glass of wine or a picnic and enjoy the sunset. You have a large lovely garden with outdoor furniture and a nice patio deck where you can hang out and enjoy the holidays and summer. The house has a large living room with open kitchen, dining area and a small living area with TV. You sleep in two bedrooms. One with a double bed, the other with two single beds. The sofa in the living room can be made into a bed of 115 cm, with room for two who wants to sleep close together. Not rented out to youth groups. Charging of electric cars is not permitted There are nice baths nearby. The nearest large bathing area is Ekerum. But you are also close to Köpingsvik's extensive beaches. You only have 10 km to Borgholm, which offers a variety of restaurants, ice cream cafés, shops and events during the summer. If you want to enjoy fine food, there is also Halltorp's inn within walking distance. Buses to Borgholm also stop near the inn. For those interested in golf, there are fine golf courses at Ekerum Golfklubb 2.5 km away.

The cottage in its simplicity with small rooms in an older style has the facilities you need for a successful holiday. Glazed balcony with a view of the water and a nice slightly hilly plot that has a beautiful view over the lake. 50 meters below the house is the bathing jetty for the morning dip and next to a small boathouse with table and chairs where you can sit and enjoy the peace. Rowing boat can be borrowed from the owner, bring a life jacket, free fishing in the lake. A small road between the cabin and the bath. On the farm, the friendly white hens roam freely and are very hospitable. In the cottage there is a practical kitchen with two hotplates, fridge-freezer, Micro and a simple oven, living room with a 140 cm sofa bed and TV with Swedish channels, a bedroom with a single bed and next to it is the bathroom with shower and WC. Please note that there is a washing machine in the kitchen with instructions in the guest folder. At the back there is a separate unit that is used by the owner who lives in the house next door, nothing that will disturb your stay. Park the car below the cottage and a staircase will take you up to the cottage. Worth a visit is the picturesque town of Söderköping with all its charm and the Göta canal passes through the town with its beautiful passenger boats. 25 kilometers from the house is Kolmården, the Nordic region's largest zoo, safari park and rides. If you want to go on a longer day trip, it is about a two-hour drive to Astrid Lindgren's world in Vimmerby. For those keen on golf, there are many fine courses in Östergötland. Take a trip by car to Rejmyre, here there are shops, restaurants and more. By tram (7 min walk) it only takes 12 minutes to get to the center, where a rich cultural and entertainment scene awaits. Here you will find the Gothenburg Opera, several museums, numerous shopping streets, restaurants for all tastes and, not least, the Liseberg amusement park for an unforgettable experience. The villa is located in a quiet residential area with a lush garden that offers both lawn and towering apple trees. On the balcony there is a glazed conservatory with a dining area for the whole group. In the entrance you are greeted by a hanging area, and directly to the right is the spacious kitchen in true turn-of-the-century style. Both parts of the archipelago are fantastically beautiful and well worth a visit. If you are in the mood for shopping, Gothenburg offers an abundance of shops. When it comes to swimming, Tumlehed (15km), Sillvik (15km) and Lilleby (14km) are the most popular options. If you want to swim in a pool, visit Lundbybadet (approx. 2km). The nearest grocery store is in Björlanda, (approx. 3km), and a petrol station with a smaller range of food is just one kilometer from the house. For a pleasant restaurant experience, you can visit Eriksberg (4km), which offers a fine selection of restaurants along the quay. Here it seethes with life during the summer months. Fiber is included in the house, which allows you to stream TV and work smoothly online. Skärhamn, the nearest town, offers a rich selection of restaurants, the popular Watercolor Museum, and has fine grocery stores with a good selection. Fishing boats dock at the jetty during the summer where you can buy freshly caught crayfish. Further up the hill it is possible to rent a kayak to explore the archipelago. The ferry, which runs right below the house every half hour (adjusted depending on the season), takes you easily to the nature reserve on Härön, where Restaurang Magasinet serves both lunch and dinner. The sauna is accessible from the outside next to the hot tub, and both the hot tub and sauna are wood-fired. The owner has a summer house next to the cabin and is occasionally there, but most of your outdoor space is secluded with views of the sea. The owner also has a charging station for electric cars via Wallbox, which you can use, but you will need to pay for the actual consumption on-site. Fishing license required. The community has everything you need for your stay. A short walk along the path by the lake takes you to the public bathing area, which has both a jetty and toilets. A short walk south is the historic Alebo guest house, with restaurant. Pay a visit to the nearby Bäckahästens stone oven bakery (open in summer). A short drive away is Lake Bolmen. Here you can find everything for those interested in fishing. Bolmen is rich in different fish species, there is the possibility to rent a boat and to book trolling fishing. There is also a very nice fish restaurant and farm shop here. Do you like peace and quiet? Do you like the company of the whistling of the wind and the rays of the sun through the greenery of the forest? Grass underfoot and a path to walk on? There are several nature reserves in the area, i.a. Årshultsmyren, a nature reserve near Lidhult. There are several golf courses in the area, the closest is Rydö golf club, approx. 16 km away.
