Other attractions and excursion destinations are Bosarpsjön, Hammarsjön, Ringsjön, Skåne Djurpark, Fulltofta Nature Center and Kristianstad Golf Club. At Vaxsjön there is also the option of renting a boat for a small fee. Along the coast towards Österlen, you also have Kiviks Musteri, Stenshuvud, Karl Fredrik at Eklaholm and much, much more. Bovallstrand is a nice old fishing village and with its location right by the sea, salt bathing becomes a given activity and here are also the famous bathing islets which are one of Bohuslän's finest bathing spots suitable for both swimming and fishing. In the buildings, much has been preserved from when shipping, fishing and stone-cutting flourished, which gave Bovallstrand its fine atmosphere. In the immediate area there are more pleasant and well-visited archipelago communities such as Smögen and Hunnebostrand, there is also a zoo called Nordens Ark where you can meet around 80 of the world's endangered animals. The beautiful nature and the opportunity to meet animals such as wolves, snow leopards or to come face to face with the world's largest feline, the Amur tiger, make the zoo a very popular excursion destination. In nearby Gerlesborg, there is an art school and a collective workshop where you can both see various exhibitions but also attend various training courses. In Hamburgsund there are nice shops, restaurants, cafes, fishmongers, mini golf and several nice bathing spots. Here you can also rent kayaks, try diving, go on boat charters and archipelago boats to see the fantastic archipelago, e.g. to the old lighthouse and pilot lookout on the Väder Islands. Just outside the community are the remains of an ancient castle located on a high mountain with a mile-long view of sea and land, a perfect excursion destination for a coffee break. A Viking market is also held there in early August. The community also has an outdoor stage "Scen på Bönn" which during the summer has several different events in music and children's theatre. From Hamburgsund, a car ferry goes over to neighboring Hamburgö with more nice bathing spots and coastal paths with fantastic views of the surroundings and the archipelago's many islands. In beautiful forest and lake areas, this brand new house (bulit 2023) is located just a hundred meters from Vånga lake. Access to the beach below the house and a boat to fish from are included in the rent. The stillness and tranquility here in nature is indescribable and invites lots of fresh air and fellowship with family and friends. The house has a large patio with garden furniture and charcoal grill overlooking the lake. From here, a patio door into the kitchen with an open floor plan and open in the ceiling up to the ridge, which gives a lot of space. The cottage has everything you could want in terms of comfort and standard, plus a wonderful location, only 75 m from the sea! Start the day with a morning swim in the sea and then sit on the well-sized balcony and enjoy breakfast coffee and the beautiful view of the Halsefjorden and Orust. The cabin was tastefully completely renovated in 2008-2012 and consists of two bedrooms, a spacious living room with dining area and TV corner with a 120 cm wide sofa bed for 1-2 people and a wood burning stove in case the evenings get chilly. Well-equipped kitchen with all amenities and fully tiled bathroom with both washing machine and tumble dryer. Several balconies and patios to choose from where you can enjoy the beautiful sea view over a good piece of food and drink. In addition, there is a beautiful gazebo that functions as an additional living room with a comfortable lounge area. The best of all is probably the luxurious wood-burning hot tub where you can enjoy to the full both day and night. A house with an absolutely magical location right at the mouth of Lagan in Laholm. You have a magnificent view of Lagans wide, unique water outlet, called Lagaoset. The house is high above the beach. The path takes you to the jetty on the reed-covered beach. Both canoe and boat are available here for both enjoyment and fishing trips. A short walk takes you to the shallow beautiful beach and the nature reserve. A spacious house that is excellent for several families or larger groups. From the entrance in the small hall you come to the open and well-equipped kitchen and living room with dining area, comfortable seating and a wood-burning stove. On the ground floor there is a bedroom with two single beds and another living room with a sofa bed and a modern Apple TV. Free wifi in the house. The bathroom has both a bathtub, shower and washing machine and there is a smaller guest toilet. Upstairs on the second floor are two bedrooms with two single beds each and a living room with a simpler sofa bed. From your holiday home, a lovely nature reserve stretches all the way to the beautiful, lovely sandy beach. The cottage is not rented out to youth groups. At a comfortable distance is Laholm, which has a cozy center with small shops, cafes and restaurants. Here Lagan winds around the town and there is fine salmon fishing and a smokehouse with a restaurant. A short drive away is Mellbystrand with its beach hotel and small shops and restaurants. To the south, the development transitions to Skummeslövstrand with a summer center with several restaurants, a shop and a bakery. Just south of, you reach the Bjäre Peninsula with all its picturesque summer villages and not least Båstad, the wonderful tennis metropolis. To the north you can easily reach Halmstad with its fantastic beaches in Tylösand, its large range of entertainment and all the golf courses. The nearest golf course is Tönnersjö Gk.

Staying on Ytterön gives you peace and relaxation with sea and rocks in the landscape. Several bathing spots to walk to within a few hundred meters. Torhamn, on the mainland, is the nearest place with services such as a grocery store and the restaurant "Café Måsen" in a beautiful harbor environment. A trip with the car up towards Kristianopel on the easternmost part of Blekinge can be recommended, among other things to visit flea markets and farm shops along this beautiful road.
