Gråborg is Öland's largest known ancient castle, which is usually popular with its fine hiking trail. You have nice swimming with a wonderful long shallow sandy beach in Bläsinge, where there is also a restaurant and sale of fresh fish. If you just want to take a dip, there is also Gårdby Hamn with a bathing jetty nearby. In Färjestaden there are plenty of fine restaurants, ice cream cafés and bathing areas. Borgholm is also usually a popular destination to stroll around if you want a slightly larger selection. Borgholm Castle Ruins is also here, which is well worth a visit. For the children, Öland Djurpark is usually popular with its animals, amusement park and water park.

Here you can enjoy a beautiful environment, nice hiking trails with many sights such as Väderholm's mountain ruin Hökerums castle, Fagernäs and Säby manor. For those who want to test their fishing luck in Mogden, it is fine to do so. Fishing licenses apply here. Inside the cabin there is a pleasant living room with sofa and TV. Here you stay comfortably in a nice cabin situated high up only a few hundred meters from bathing and a perfect starting point for everything you could possibly need. This is place offers a holiday combined with peace and quiet but also with proximity to big city life, culture, shopping, good dining etc. in Stockholm City if desired. The house has two entrances. Either you enter directly into the kitchen, with stove and wood stove, or you take the door into the master bedroom. In the living room there you will find the dining area and sofa group with a sofa bed for two people. Feel free to light the fire on cooler evenings and enjoy the warmth. From the living room you come out to the partly glazed terrace with a roof, here you can enjoy lovely dinners. The view from here is just as nice as from inside the house. Below the balcony is a barbecue area. There are two bedrooms, the master bedroom with a double bed and a bedroom with a single bed. Currently, there is a bathtub in the bathroom, but the homeowner plans to put in a shower cabin. In the guest house, which is just below, there is a bunk bed. On the side of the house, you can take a flight of stairs up to a small vantage point and watch the evening sun in the hammock. When you want to swim, you walk across the street and follow the green fence down to a lovely natural beach. If you go in the other direction, you will arrive at Trinntorpsbadet with a sandy beach and jetty. There is also a restaurant here, which is also usually open in the evenings with entertainment. Right next to the bath, you can take Vaxholm's boat out into the archipelago for even more experiences. In the immediate area there are many fine nature areas for hiking, including the Telegrafberget and Klövberget nature reserves. At the top of Telegrafberget there is a lookout tower with a view of Stockholm, Dalarö and Gustavsberg and here you can hike, experience a rich wildlife with rare vegetation and pick berries and mushrooms. Likewise in the Klövberget nature reserve, where there are also caves to visit. Here you have very pleasant accommodation and access to your own swimming area. For those who want more speed and life, Sikall's campsite is only a short distance away with a larger swimming area. This accommodation is ideal for the larger family or group with up to 8 beds. You live very idyllically in a scenic rural environment, where the horses Frasse and Baby graze outside together with the cows in the pasture. In here there is a double bed of 180 cm and a balcony door. Here you can go out and have your first cup of coffee in the morning and greet the horses. If you want a motorboat, access to the dock house with dock, you can book this on site with the house owner. There is also another smaller bathing spot in a secluded bay only about 200 m away with a sandy beach. Both swimming areas are shared with the home owner. Remember that you can bring your own life jackets! Included in the house are also 4 bicycles for adults, 2 bicycles for young people, 3 bicycles for children. ATTENTION! Bring your own helmet. Here you live in a rural idyll and there are animals on the farm. The homeowner has a dog, cats, horses and cows. In Vänersborg, with its small-town charm, there are adventure pools (indoors) and cozy cafes. You are close to the border with Dalsland, a day trip to the west coast Ljungskile, Uddevalla or the big city of Gothenburg. Here you will have a great time and feel good. Welcome to a wonderful house on Adelsö in Mälaren. The house was built in 2016 and has all the facilities you need for a wonderful holiday. The house is carefully decorated by the family who lives there, with two complete floors, so the house is perfect for a large family or two families who want to vacation together. There are also two living rooms; one on the upper floor and one on the ground floor, both have TV and internet included with good coverage. Two bathrooms with shower, a laundry room, a lovely large plot with lawn for play and games, a greenhouse where the family grows vegetables that you are welcome to harvest during the season. A terrace with exit from the living room, with outdoor furniture and barbecue for cozy summer evenings. The kitchen is spacious and state-of-the-art, the dining table is homemade and resembles a beautiful boat deck. If you are interested in fishing, there is a fishing boat for rent, contact the owner via the Stugsommar service office if you are interested and if you have knowledge of boats. The house is close to the water, it takes about 2 minutes down to the cable ferry that takes you to Ekerö and then easily onward to Stockholm. There is a nice swimming area 3 km from the house. There is a lot of history to experience on Adelsö, runic carvings among other things. Just outside Adelsö is the Viking Island of Birka from the 7th century, which is usually considered Sweden's first city, well worth a visit. Boats go there from both Adelsö and Ekerö. From Ekerö you can also take an archipelago boat to Stockholm, a cozy boat trip.

There are also 2 bedrooms, one has 1 double bed of 180cm and from that room it is possible to open and close a door for a slightly smaller bedroom with a pull-out bed from Ikea of 160cm very practical. In the summer you can sit outside and enjoy all the day's meals on the terrace, or just enjoy the tranquility of nature. If you want to get out on some adventure and fishing, you can borrow a canoe that can accommodate 4 people. In Vanderydssjön, fishing licenses are valid. To the nearest big city Trollhättan it is about 30 km and there are also buses. In Trollhättan there are outdoor baths, a cozy inner city along the canal, playgrounds, a large shopping center and old locks, saab museum and much to do. If you like to play golf, Koberg's golf course with an incredibly beautiful nature around and also Koberg Castle are recommended. Or why not go to Gothenburg and visit the amusement park Liseberg. Welcome to this very well-planned cottage close to the beach and fishing! Here you live comfortably with a spacious garden and walking distance to both swimming and restaurants. The cabins are of a simpler standard but full of comfort and consist of a main cabin and two guest cabins. In the large cabin you have two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with a bunk bed. You also have a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area. You also have the living room with a corner sofa and TV. There is a wood burning stove (out of order and must not be used) The bathroom is large and has what you need, wc, wash basin and bathtub. The larger guest cabin consists of a bunk bed and a sofa bed with room for two. There is also a fridge and coffee maker here. The smaller guest cabin has a bunk bed and likewise a fridge and coffee maker. The garden attracts a lot of sun and is large and nestled in greenery, perfect for hanging out and playing. You also have a conservatory and a terrace with a roof for days when it is needed. Grill and outdoor furniture are also available here! Once outside in the large garden, you can play and move freely. It is possible to grill here and there is also outdoor furniture. Should the rain increase, you also have a cozy conservatory that can be used. The cottage is right near the so-called Listerlandet, a peninsula that juts out between Blekinge and Skåne. In this area there is much to feel and experience. A perfect peninsula for those who like to stroll through village centers, walk along the beach, pause in the harbor and take a swim. Here there are several cozy coastal villages, for example Hörvik, Nogersund and Hällevik, with several nice cafés, restaurants and fish smokehouses.
