Hällevik is the oldest and most famous of Lister's fishing villages. The village is located on a deep bay, beautifully embraced by the two tongues of land Björkenabben and Kråkenabben - the latter a well-known orchid and bird locale. The old village center has traditional wooden buildings and faces the harbor with its well-preserved old stone cabinets. There is a guest harbor, food and various shops, smokehouses, fish shop and harbor restaurant. There is also a charming fishing museum, which gives insight into the village's history. In Hällevik it is close to everything. The nice beach is just a stone's throw away, as is Stiby Backe, for those who want cooling beech forest and beautiful views. The nearest town is Sölvesborg.
