This charming cabin offers a peaceful oasis despite being close to the highway, as it is protected by a mountain knoll and a cozy little forest grove. Santa has a large lawn where the kids can play freely, and a cute gazebo that makes a perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee, even when the rain is falling. In the leafy gazebo you can relax with coffee on sunny days. Inside the entrance you are greeted by a small kitchen with a serving hatch. The water has that characteristic rural smell and taste, completely safe to drink. If you still want a filtered alternative, a filter jug is available - just fill it up and put it in the fridge. The living room is furnished for comfort with both a dining area and a large sofa that accommodates the whole party. From here you reach the balcony, where outdoor furniture and a gas grill await lovely barbecue evenings. The site also has a large grass area on this side, perfect for outdoor games. The cabin has a bedroom with two single beds and a smaller bedroom with a bunk bed. In the annex on the plot there is also a double bed for extra sleeping places. You will find the shower in the unfurnished basement, and it is accessed via an entrance at the back of the house. The incineration toilet in the cabin is easy to use – just follow the instructions on site. Near the cottage are several lovely bathing spots. Småholmarna's bathing area (4.4 km) and Slussen's bathing area (5.5 km), are both very popular during the summer. Henån (3 km) offers all the services you could need with shops, restaurants, system companies and much more. In addition, several pleasant events are arranged in Henån during the summer. If you want to shop, there is Göksäter, a shopping paradise where you can find everything between heaven and earth at fantastic prices. If you continue a little further, you have Böda's extensive white sandy beaches where you can enjoy wonderful summer days on one of Öland's most beautiful beaches. You have a nice terrace with outdoor furniture where you can socialize and enjoy the holiday. The house is fresh and well-furnished. You have an open living area with kitchen, dining area and a living area with a sofa that can be made into a double bed (approx. 140 cm). Here you live in a quiet residential area with a footpath that takes you the 850m down to pleasant Köpingsvik. Here you have everything for an unbeatable holiday and can really enjoy a high standard, pool and one of Öland's best beaches. In Borgholm you can stroll around and enjoy the lovely atmosphere, the many restaurants, ice cream cafés and shops. There is also a large selection of restaurants in Köpingsvik. There is much to discover on Öland. At Borgholm's Castle Ruins you can really feel the wings of history. Here you can also enjoy concerts with great artists. The cottage, originally from the 19th century, has been renovated and extended while preserving its original charm. The property is on multiple levels, with fencing both towards the lake and the road, which is occasionally trafficked. In the older part of the cottage, you'll find an entrance through a beautiful original glass veranda, where you can enjoy your morning coffee. From here, you enter a hallway with stairs leading up to the charming attic loft with three single beds, and access to the kitchen, where the stove and fridge/freezer are new, providing everything you need for a comfortable stay—though we do wash dishes by hand. Moving into the dining room, there is plenty of seating around the table and a charming open fireplace where you can make a cozy fire on chilly days. In the newly built extension, there is an additional entrance. Here you'll find a fresh bathroom equipped with a washing machine and another bedroom with a very comfortable double bed. The living room has an open ceiling up to the roof and large windows facing Hjälmaren. Upstairs, there is a loft with a double bed. On the lakeside, there is a wonderful terrace with garden furniture, perfect for lingering late into the evening to enjoy the view. A charcoal grill is available for your use. Stairs lead down to the lake where you’ll find a private dock, perfect for sunbathing and swimming, with a convenient swimming ladder. If you want to head out on the lake, there's a rowboat available, located beside the property in a small bay. For services, shops, and restaurants, Vingåker is about a 20-minute drive away. At Hjälmaregården, you'll find a large sandy beach, as well as a simple café/pizza place and a kiosk open during the summer. Nice house with a small lake plot in cozy Kråkelund. Here you live only 20m from the sea and can enjoy a lovely patio deck with outdoor furniture right down by the seaside. There is also a pier with a bathing ladder where you can take a cooling dip. There is a small rowing boat for exploring the area at sea. Note that the jetty is shared with another boat owner who has his berth here. Life jackets for both children and adults are available. In front of the house down towards the sea is a neighboring house, so the plot belonging to the house is to the left of that house and thus narrows down towards the sea. You also have two patios up by the house. At the front there is a covered terrace where you can enjoy the sea view in comfortable outdoor furniture. At the gable end of the house is a patio deck with lounge furniture. Here you can enjoy grilling a piece of food for the evening. The house has a kitchen with a nice dining area. In the living room there is a comfortable sofa that can be made into an extra double bed. Extra bed mattresses are available for comfort. There is also a TV and a wood-burning stove here. The stove was only used by people who mastered the technology. Bring your own firewood. In the bedroom there is a double bed. Note that there are level differences in the house and that the terrain down towards the sea is a bit difficult to access for people with reduced mobility. A short walk takes you to the center of Falkenberg. There are many nice little cafes, restaurants and shops here. The fine, large sandy beach at Skrea quickly fills up with bathers in the summer. In the southern part of Skrea beach there is a lovely walking area and a nature reserve that offers rock bathing. For those interested in golf, there are several golf courses within easy reach. The closest is Falkenbergs Gk. Through Falkenberg flows the Ätran, which has great nature experiences and walking paths. Ätran has a nice salmon fishery (fishing license required). Feel free to pay a visit to the small town of Slöinge, which has both a well-known bakery and café, an ice cream factory with service and a brewery with outdoor seating. To the north you quickly reach the fine summer town of Varberg and to the south Halmstad. By car you can also quickly reach Europe's largest shopping center GEKÅS in Ullared.
