In winter, summit hikes in the area are popular, where you can go up the mountain and ski from the mountain tops down to the sea. Further south is the fishing village Laukvik with the open sea outside. Here you can walk along the large pier that protects the harbor and enjoy the salty sea air. 43 km to Svolvær, “capital” of Lofoten. Good starting point for car trips around Lofoten and Vesterålen through the car ferry from Fiskebøl to Melbu. Owner lives in the main apartment of the house.
