The house is located by Årøybukt with a panoramic view of the fjord and mountains. Go hiking in summer and skiing in winter. Summer is also the season for midnight sun. Boat for rent 01.06.25-25.09.25. The boat is moored in the sea (not a floating dock) and you have to row out with a small dinghy. PS: The house is not registered as a tourist fishing business, so it is not possible to export fish out of Norway. A filleting bench is available at the house or boathouse. There are also several lakes nearby (remember fishing license). The firewood heated hot tub is available from 01.06 to 01.10 (firewood is not included). All guests must have studded tires on rental cars from 1 November to 1 May.

The house is centrally located below the main road, but in the house and on the terrace facing the fjord you hardly notice the traffic. Not for rent to youth groups. The large view windows in the living room face the fjord and make the living room and kitchen bright and pleasant. Upstairs in the attic, there is a large bedroom with double bed and cozy attic/bedroom with double bed and great views. Målselv Fjellandsby with a great alpine resort is approx. 50 minutes’ drive away. Also visit the island of Senja with its magnificent nature. From here there is a car ferry in the summer to Andenes, with the option of whale watching by boat out to sea. From Tromsø you can also reach Skjervøy by boat for whale watching. Experiencing the big whales up close is a great experience for the whole family. 4 km to the village center with colonial shop, cafes, pharmacy, liquor store etc. 80 km to Tromsø. A 13-foot boat with an electric motor is moored at the fjord, 100 m from the house, and can be rented. Due to the shallow shoreline, the boat cannot be used at low tide.
