What a rest. We have lived here for a week as king and queen on our own estate with a private park of 8 Ha, sun loungers and breakfast corner overlooking the orchard. The owners were gone during the week and David, the manager was just not on his toes to disturb us. Perfect base for trips to Bayeux, Caen and the landing beaches. The house is very spacious and luxurious. However, the kitchen equipment is a bit old. The extractor hood is old and greasy. The glass of the extractor hood spontaneously gave up at 200 at night and the stock of pans allowed some renovation. Two seeds for cooking is a little bit of a shit.

Nice and quiet stay, beautiful surroundings. Located on a quiet estate with beautiful forest. Only downside was that we had informed the beds beforehand and Belvilla said there was a double bed and two folding beds for the children. Double bed was on top of beautiful vide and folding bed was the double sofa which was already tidy upon arrival. All because of the location of the two beds, it was logical that we lay on the folding bed as parents, which was a bit hard and less comfortable. Nothing but good!

We were excellently received, the bed was made up and there was wood for the big stove that warmed the whole room (and that's big). When it's on you can ask more that is not a problem. The owner came later in the week and is very friendly so all along very pleasant stay. The only thing we regretted was that you can not walk out of your house, but of course we knew that. The estate is large, so it's absolutely no outdoor space. Good location to visit the invasion beaches.

A charming place to stay, The wood stove in the living room made it feel very homey, It was also nice to have a washing machine for our clothes after day trips, Would definitely consider coming back!

Environment is beautiful. Apartment is reasonable, but moderately maintained. Kitchen is not really complete and overdue in terms of stuff. Typical French ?

The location was fine! On arrival we were met by the owner / manager, with whom it was impossible to communicate with. The house seemed neat at first, but when opening the cupboards it was downright dirty (cobwebs, dead insects, dirty crockery and worst of all ... mouse droppings. We also had a nuisance from the mice. All food was eaten and they just walked on We ended up keeping all edibles in the fridge and in the car. The owner was nowhere to be seen. We didn't see this man again when we left. I emailed him but no response. I think, if you € 115 paid for cleaning costs (which I already think is disproportionate) that you can expect a clean house.

We are very disappointed with our stay. There was little or no cleaning, while we paid € 115.00 cleaning costs. Kitchen has not been done for years and pans were seriously damaged. The garden is very nice and large, but "pitch dark in the evening so does not really invite you to sit comfortably, nor is it adjacent to the apartment. We left home earlier than intended.

Beautiful location, friendly people. It's a nice house with a nice bed, good plumbing. Inside a lot of space outside a lovely garden. Stands surrounded by nature so do not be afraid of a spider or something. We had a visit from a mouse, but that was quickly resolved by the maintenance man. Excellent starting point to explore the area. D-Day beaches, 15 minutes by car. Bakery and super makt in Creuly.

Nice apartment in area with a lot of war history. Good place to visit many places WWII from the books. Apartment is spacious and well appointed. Bedroom is in good weather fast hot and can cause problems with mangled. In cold weather, use of the wood stove is a must.

The converted barn of Chateau Pierrepont in Lantheuil Normandy reveals a stunning holiday. Located on the grounds of the castle where you anywhere free access to the park, the gardens and the pond from your large private garden. A must for culture and nature lovers.

Apartment was clean and thoughtfully designed. Kitchen is well equipped with sufficient pans, dishes, etc. Owners and managers (who speaks good Dutch) are very friendly. For our baby was a cot arranged. Atmosphere is relaxed. In the area there is plenty to do and see. Beach ongveer 10 minutes by car. Bayeux and Caen have beautiful historic centers and are well worth a visit. We have a nice and quiet week in a beautiful green area full of history. Consider another return.

Wonderful week. We were warmly welcomed by the owner and the Dutch-speaking Francois. The cottage is nicely furnished and spacious than we originally thought. The castle gardens and the adjoining woods are beautiful and full of birds and other animals - "at night you can see the frogs outside heard croaking. The kids in are nice in the gardens played and rocked and we also enjoyed the sailing trips on the pond at the castle. If you like peace and nature will love your sin more good here. The sea (and the country landing beaches) are close by, as is the historic town of Bayeux. Highly recommended.
