Here, you will stay wonderfully in the middle of the Södermanland landscape with proximity to Stockholm, which you can reach in about 1.5 hours if you want to experience the city buzz. The house is very fresh and was built a few years ago with a large furnished terrace in the best sun-facing position, offering a lovely view of the lake and greenery. Inside the house, there is a spacious living room with a dining area and a cozy sofa corner, as well as a kitchen area. There is one bedroom with a double bed and a smaller room with a child's bed for children up to 50 kg. The bathroom has a shower and toilet and is also equipped with a washing machine. From the living room, there is a loft ladder leading up to a sleeping loft with two beds. This is not suitable for small children as the ladder is very steep. Right below the house, you have a private dock where you can swim, sunbathe, or simply sit and enjoy the view of the lake. Around Lake Båven, there are several hiking trails and nature reserves. Put on your hiking boots and go for a hike or rent a canoe in Skebokvarn and explore the lake. If you are a golfer, the beautiful Stjärnhov Golf Club is about a 20-minute drive from the cottage. Pets are welcome in this house, but please keep your dog on a leash as there are other dogs in the neighboring house. Many lakes and waterways make it possible to fish, paddle and hike in any of the nature reserves and outdoor areas around here. At Ire nature school, you get to experience a living museum and a preserved agricultural landscape with the farm's animals to watch. At the entrance on the gable of the house there is a covered patio with garden furniture. Small hall inside the door with narrow stairs to the upper floor with two bedrooms. The first bedroom with a single bed is a walk-through room as the second bedroom is inside with two single beds and a pull-out sofa bed with mattress. In the kitchen downstairs, there are all possibilities for self-catering. Inside the kitchen, a fresh and bright bathroom with shower. Next to the kitchen, an open living room with a dining table and chairs for shared meals and pleasant socializing. The innermost part of the room is spacious with a sofa and armchairs in front of the tiled stove and the TV. The whole house has been renovated in recent years and has beautiful wooden floors and many windows with nice light. There is access to a washing machine in the basement with access from the outside. Blekinge is called Sweden's garden and the species richness is great in the house's own garden and immediate surroundings. For those interested in nature, there is much to discover and see. A short drive takes you to the port city of Karlshamn with the entire Blekinge archipelago at your feet. Here, daily archipelago boats go between kobbar and skarn and out to islands such as Tjärö, Tärnö and many more along the fairway. Welcome to live in a family-friendly large villa on two levels with large generous areas both indoors and outdoors in the fishing and boating community of Heestrand. Here you live peacefully and close to nature in harmony with hares and deer and the occasional squirrel. From the villa, you have a certain view of the sea from the large conservatory on the second floor, and on the plot there is a well-sized lawn made for all kinds of games and play. Here you really have the chance to realize the "good life" because within a stone's throw there is the sea with salty swimming, boating and walking paths to neighboring coastal communities with a view of the sea's "highway" where thousands of boats pass in summer. Here you can also rent a kayak, try diving, go on boat charters and archipelago boats to see the fantastic archipelago, e.g. to the old lighthouse and pilot lookout on the Väder Islands. The community also has an outdoor stage "Scen på Bönn" which during the summer has several different events in music and children's theatre. From Hamburgsund, a car ferry goes over to neighboring Hamburgö with more nice bathing spots and coastal paths with fantastic views of the surroundings and the archipelago's many islands. In some of the lakes a boat is also provided when purchasing a fishing license. The cottage is located right between the popular destinations of Vimmerby with Astrid Lindgren's World and Gränna with polka pig making next to Vättern and Visingsö. Perfect for day trips for both big and small holidaymakers. Entrance to the cottage from the terrace into the open hall with living room. In this cozy room there is a sofa bed for two and a ladder that leads up to the sleeping loft with two single beds which can easily be pushed together to make a double bed. Here the ceilings are a bit low but very cozy. On the lower level there is the kitchen with all the possibilities for self-catering. A sleeping alcove with bunk beds next to the kitchen and a very fresh bathroom with shower and toilet. Patio with barbecue barrel and benches where you can make a fire with wood or coal. Elk safaris can be experienced in these forests and only 8 kilometers to the grocery store, café and restaurant/pizzeria. Possibility to rent kayaks and canoes is also available here. To get here, you take the ferry from Lilla Varholmen via Björkö, a journey that is smooth and available all year round. Here you will find a charming small apartment on the ground floor on the same plot as the owner's residence, just a stone's throw from the sea. The apartment consists of a living room with kitchenette, dining area and a bedroom with two single beds (90cm) and a toilet with shower. If you need an extra bed, there is also a fold-up bed available. Kalvsund offers incredible swimming opportunities with jetties and inviting rocks around the entire island. The municipal swimming area, which is located approx. 250m from the accommodation, has both a jumping tower and a bathing jetty. On the island there is a lot to choose from, both small sandy beaches and piers with both shallow and deeper water, as well as lovely rocks to sunbathe on. On nearby Björkö you will find a grocery store, restaurants and a nice mini golf course. Björkö is also an excellent starting point for visiting other nearby islands such as Hönö, Fotö and experiencing its beautiful nature, restaurants and fishing boats. At Kalvsund, you can visit Hemma-Hos-Krogen Ute på Udden, which serves seafood, three-course dinners and picnic baskets in a cozy home environment. They also offer seaweed safaris for the adventurous. The guest harbor on the island has a cafe and kiosk which are open during the summer months. Sturkö, which is connected by a bridge, is one of the larger islands in the archipelago and has a grocery store, restaurant and bakery. There is much to discover here on foot or on a bicycle borrowed from the accommodation. By car, you can easily get to "Barnens gård", which is a water - and play area with the farm's animals to pet and cuddle with. The naval city of Karlskrona has a lot to see and experience, for example the Marine museum with a submarine to visit and very interesting history for both adults and children.
