Welcome to a very fresh and spacious house with a very good standard and a seafront location in Barkedal by the Gullmarsfjord, Sweden's only threshold fjord. The house is located sunny and peaceful in a small cottage area that borders the sea, fields and meadows. Stångenäset with the main town Lysekil, which is popularly called "The City by the Sea", is located at the farthest point of the sea at the mouth of Gullmarsfjorden. Experience the fantastic feeling of freedom that the sea gives at Stångehuvud nature reserve with fine smooth red granite cliffs that is unique in Bohuslän. The cabin's entrance is reached via a glass-enclosed veranda, from there you enter a welcoming hall which leads you to a kitchen equipped with stove, separate oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee maker and dishwasher, inside the kitchen is a large living room with both dining room furniture and a nice large corner sofa. In the glass veranda there are two sofas and a dining table, a perfect environment if you are looking for shade or a moment of relaxing rest. On the first floor, there is also the cottage's bathroom with shower and washing machine. From the hall, a staircase leads up to the second floor, where you are first met by a bedroom with a double bed and a single bed and further into another bedroom equipped with a double bed. From the living room you reach the cottage's balcony area with summer furniture and barbecue, a nice place in a peaceful environment to discuss the day's adventures or plan for new excursions. On the cottage's lawn area, which you share with the owner's house, there is room for all kinds of games and play. If the cabin owner is at home, the owner usually has the option of guided tours in the area and you also have the option of renting a canoe from the owner. Extra freezer space can be borrowed by contacting the owner. The cabin has WiFi connection. Hedekas / Sörbygden is part of the municipality of Munkedal which is known for its very varied and worth visiting natural areas, everything from sea and fjord environments such as The salt spring with its sandy beach and salty baths to deep forests with lakes and rivers. Hedekas is located on the edge of Kynnefjäll, which is an approximately two mile long and one mile wide high plateau in northern Bohuslän. The plateau stretches between the Bullaresjöarna rift valley in the west and the Örekilsälven valley in the east, with Kornsjöarna as the northern outpost on the border with Norway. The topography of the area has meant that species that are otherwise more common further north in the country thrive here. Örekilsälven, which is also a popular river for salmon fishing, where many sport fishing enthusiasts have tried their luck over the years. From the cabin, you can also easily make day trips to Nordens Ark, Havets Hus in Lysekil, Smögenbryggan, fishing and boating communities in the northern part of Bohuslän. If you want to spend a day on the golf course, there are several nice courses within a radius of a couple of miles to choose from, e.g. Dagsholms GK in Färgelanda or Torreby golf course, which is Bohuslän's oldest golf course, the course is located in a castle setting with an English-inspired castle park.

Solvik offers a short walk of around 10 minutes to the swimming area at Almön. Here you can enjoy a large, lovely veranda with a dining area and lounge furniture as well as a hammock. A terrace with barbecue facilities, as well as a comfortable "cabana" for relaxation and sunbathing. In addition, there is a refreshing outdoor shower and a garden with space for play. Please note, however, that there is a pond on the property which is 1m deep, so non-swimming children cannot stay in the property for safety reasons! Downstairs there is a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, dining room with wood stove, living room with TV and wifi via fiber, an office and a small bathroom with shower and wc. There is a bedroom upstairs with a double bed (160cm), a bedroom with a single bed (90cm), and a hall with a bed that can become a double bed (2x80cm). A folding bed is available to make up if needed. As it is an older house, the ceiling height is lower, especially on the upper floor. Desks are available both in the office and upstairs. If you want to sit on the porch and use the Internet, it may be a good idea to move the modem, because the brickwork of the house can dampen the coverage somewhat. You park in the driveway. A charming and well-equipped cabin of 30 m² with its own terrace, outdoor furniture and a charcoal grill is offered here - everything for a pleasant and relaxing stay. The cottage has a cozy family room with a small sofa and dining table. The kitchen is well planned and offers all the essentials despite the compact surface, including a real oven and hob. The small bedroom has two single beds (a´80 cm) that can be moved together to form a double bed if necessary. The bedroom has no door, but a curtain for privacy and a window with a blackout curtain. The bathroom is modernly equipped with a shower, wash basin, WC and a top-loading washing machine. The sleeping loft is reached via a steep ladder.
